The English Rugby League board announced their new shirt for the 2008 world cup campaign on the 16th June 2008. As per usual englandshirt.org.uk are the first with the latest news on this.

This eagerly awaited shirt is the one that will adorn the shoulders of the England RL team as they endeavour to win the Rugby League World Cup campaign in 2008.

Jamie Peacock was the model of choice for the shirts premier in Bolton and who better to slip into the shirt for the first time in public than the man who will captain England during the campaign. England vs France on the 27th June is the first time that the shirt will be worn in competitive rugby.

Puma for Rugby League

Puma are the nominated kit manufacturers, the Puma brand is prominently displayed in the centre of the shirt which is also adorned by a large St George’s cross that spans from each arm across the chest.

England Rugby League Logo

The above shows the fantastic new ‘3D effect’ England crest. This was launched earlier in the year and is sewn into the left breast of the new shirt. The official Rugby World Cup Logo sits neatly on the opposite side.

Both the England men’s and women’s teams will wear the kit at their respective World Cups which will run alongside each other in Australia later this year.

England Rugby League Shirt Prices

Adult mens £45

Adult women’s £45

Youth shirt £40

Junior £35

All the official replica shirts are designed to be less tight fitting than those worn by the players! So you’ll be cool and comfortable whilst supporting England.
